Bodkin is Born

A new name for the workshops and a  new me, after a horrid year of being ill. In the last months I have turned a corner and if I hadn't have lost my job I may not of taken on a shop share and running more workshops. So to mark a new adventure and the success of the workshop places going so quickly. Bodkin is born. Who should call in the craft shop yesterday but too craft fairy's  in the name of Pipa and Naterly who waved there magic wands over the shop yesterday and with the everlasting support of Claire at Sidmouth poppy blog. I think a new business is born. As always if you can not make it to workshop you can still buy my work on folksy, etsy and if East Devon is not to far Sidmouths Mill Street craft shop Maisie Daisy Open Wed-Sat. Making is always better with company so thank you everyone . Pop in when you are in town.

Tuesdays Workshop

We made my take on a 1940s style brooch.

 Everyone concentrating.
An original 1940s brooch in silk threads on my favourite tank top.

Some of the lovely finished ones. This workshop will be coming around again soon as a popular one. Thanks everyone for a wonderful morning making.

next weeks workshop

We will be making these this Wednesday, Apple tree or flower badges. Tuesday this week is full but tue and wed next week there are a couple of spaces left.

Just the same but on a larger scale.

If you like them but can not make the workshop I have a few for sale £12 each, but its more fun to make your own, by simple wrapping and French knots. If you get stuck just ask.

no more red shoes

I'm very naughty with red shoes and have my eye on some new ones so I must sell the two pair I wear the least. so if you are a size 4 and fancy a bid they are on ebay under women's shoes

March

Last years spring shelf

Wishing you a woolly spring. Theses are my baby Bodkins. Easy to make with a wooden bead, pipe cleaner and wool. I'm back to work teaching in the children's hospital this month and think I may take these  as one of the crafts to choose from.
