New Travelling project bags
I have managed to make up some new travelling woollberries project bags this weekend as my order of fabric/printing paints arrived in time. They are great for grabbing your current project and much better than pulling out your wool from a carrier bag. I spent ages trying to up load them on folksy today I had lots of goes and it just wasn't playing ball.So I will tell you guys about then in stead. They are 17cm wide and 39ish long. with a draw string and made from 100% cotton. They cost £7 each.

Travelling Woolberries Friday Woolly Goodness
Posy Picture
After making the little posy badge. Thought I might try making one on a larger scale. Using a large tapestry wooden ring. First paint it then score some groves at the top to help the wool spread evenly. The flowers were made by doing big French knots ,but you may no a better way .Have fun having a go.

My posy badge
Base on a 1940 style badge I found, it was made in silks but I,ve used wool.To make your self one of these first find a metal curtin ring. wrap the wool around the edges and up and down for the flower stems the flowers are made by doing little french knots. sew a badge pin on the back.. Check out this great blog to see her collection of wartime Brooches ' 1940s style for you'
