My Edwardian bed

My bed. Our  little people  had jumped so much on the old pine bed it broke the slats . I found it all cellotaped up by the guilty party. So after looking up new beds. I decided to take a  a trip to our local auction house instead I found the base and frame of an Edwardian bed to fit my own mattress for 37 pounds -  bargain, apparently Edwardian beds are not popular, well they are in our home. On these grey mornings I string fairy lights around my knitted leaves. It's so high I feel like I'm out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Tea in bed as it's the holidays. Hope you are having a happy half term.

I hope my workshops are fun and relaxing. places go  very quickly at the moment so I hope to introduce some early evening ones too when the evenings are not so grim that is.

Doll Competition

This Doll needs a name! So far I have Vera Thimble, but she doesn't look like a Vera. I find it hard parting with my dolls as they take so long to make , so if I call on you to name her I will find it easier to let her go to the land of Etsy in the spring.  Sadly I can not give her to you, but the best name and little mention on your blog (if you have one) about mine would be just smashing and will win you the lovely Una, the  mermaid doll. Marketing is never easy, always better to let someone else blow your trumpet. Competition ends first week in March. I will put the winner on my blog and  my mermaid doll will swim her way to you. Ps I will have a few little treats for runners up .

New Woolly Worskops

Some new woolly workshops will be coming soon. On Tues11th and 18th of February  we are making woolly angels, both are full, but I will show pics of what we make.
Next woolly Angel workshop with places is wed 19th of February.

Look who feel asleep under the primulas..To make theses little baby bugs all you need is a wooden bead a pipe cleaner and some merio carded wool. Pop in the shop if you are local and I will give you a quick demo.

Apron Dresses in larger sizes as promised

I have three lovely overly gorgeous sizes of Apron Dress on my Etsy site they will fit size 16-22. It is getting so hard to buy  hand embroidered table cloths. This one I particular I love as it has a little stile on it.
