Pearl Mogg and a garden in a saucer

Here Pearl is out and about in the garden, wishing you a lovely weekend.
If you don't have a garden make one on a saucer.

I got a bit over excited making mine and used a butter dish as a cottage.
But as ever the things the kids make are the best. Happy weekend.

A very Talcy post

We girls are loving the sunny sticky weather. But we need Talc and Neal's yard Geranium and Orange is my favourite or is was until I ran out and found out it's discontinued. It's also expensive so let's try and be green and glamorous where we can. I bought Geranium and Orange essential oils, corn flour and some pretty glass  pepper and sugar jars -  make sure you mist the oils on the flour and sieve the corn flour or it will not shake though the holes, (not saying I did that! ). Organic corn flour would be nice, but I wanted to do it right there and then not being a very patient person.

Don't let the gravy boat picture put you off . It worked smelling sweet could not be easier.

A very Talcy me.

Bradninch Musical Gardens

Setting off for a great sunny day out looking around some fabtastic gardens in a very pretty town.

Excellent knit graffiti to greet you. There was live music in  all the gardens . It was fun following a map -  who can't resit a look into other people lives.  The best garden off them all belonged to the Artist Sue Reeves. Photographs below with lots off hidden places to sit, her mosaic work poking out from the plants and her studio at the top of the steep garden. I came back full of inspiration.
