This doll family was a commission, They take me ages to make so they had to wait a jolly long time for it and I'm always nervous until I know they like it. fingers crossed.

DORIS AND MY MOASIC MEAKIN ANGEL

 

 We grow pinks on our allotment for cut flowers. The best one for lasting longest and the most buds is definitely 'Doris' followed closely by 'Gran's favourite'.

 One of my favourite pottery is the Hedgerow by Alfred Meakin. So when one breaks I'm not sad anymore - I
just save them up to make my Meakin Angels, keeping one for me and selling the rest, if there is an interest in them. I have only just entered the exciting world of mosaic.
