Elderflowers

Eldeflowers are everywhere now. I'd love to make elderflower cordial and wine, but sometimes us busy gals can't do it all so my quick, but amazingly tasty version. Just push the head of a elderflower into a mineral water bottle of water add a tea spoon of runny honey, leave in the fridge over night, drink and enjoy in the next two days; a great one for kiddies as they don't have to wait too long and can colour labels for the bottles - easy and it does taste of summer.

My dandelion skirt

We all love a new book or two, and the inspiration it gives us. I've been waiting for this lovely wildflower book. Im trying to learn all the flowers I find in our hedgerows . I've also been collecting white linen clothes from charity shops, so armed with fabric paints I've brought the clothes to life, using the book for ideas. Here is my spring dandelion skirt . Just remember to iron your paintings to fix them and make them washable.
