Little Red

New workshop coming soon. making my Little Red Ridding Hood brooch . She is also to buy if you want to give her a home. I have made three so far £14 each. Happy weekend everyone. Look out if you go visiting granny in the woods this weekend.

Todays workshop

 We made decorative birdcage/lantern hanging things (I will have to think of a shorter name, any ideas?)

 They all turned out very different.

 I like adding little bells on mine and I save my broken jewellery like odd earrings to fix on.

 We always like a little photo shoot out side the shop.

 Two lovely ladies new to our Bodkin workshops. hope you both enjoyed your morning. hx

 No sewing on these lots of wrapping and  sari fabric strips are great to use.

 Next hanging thingies! workshop will be Wed 30th of July.

This one has a little nest at the bottom. you could sit a battery candle in it.

Lavender Girl

Today I was working in the children's ward at our local hospital, taking my crafts out and about. I was especially  proud of this lovely girl who manage to make her lavender bottle with the use of one arm. I always come back from work feeling very tired, happy and humble.

Always remember you are braver than you believe. Stronger than you Seem and Smarter than you think. hx

 Lets hide the telly away, summers here.

 And head for the beach.

Bovet Tracey Craft event

 Did anyone else go ? It was amazing so much talent, It was almost to much for my crafty brain, that I left for a little air as it was so busy and I wondered down a side street in Bovey Tracey and look what I found. A very kind chap showed me around his looms and weaving machines.

Lavender Weekend

Lavender biscuits and lavender tea.

 I love making these. So if your lavender is in flower, which most are, get making and pop by if you get stuck or want a lesson.

 I love that everyone's Lavender bottles are different.

 Let me show you how to make one. they take just over an hour, so if you can get to Sidmouth book me for a bodkin workshop by the sea and we can drink tea and make these. £14.00 inc all materials.

Daddy Sunday

 Hope you all had a lovely Fathers day Sunday. we made this little tin for the special man in our home. With little books that folded out.

Pearl Mogg is off to a Seasonal  Bodkin Lavender workshop in my home tomorrow. Have a look at what Pearl and others will be  making  from Lavender jam to lavender bottles. On Bodkins facebook. Happy sunny weekend everyone what ever you get up too.
